Nutrition
Banipur Sahayog, a not for profit, non-government organisation established in the year 2003 by a group of similar minded professionals & researchers, is devoted to make society better. Since birth, it has adopted concerted affirmative action to catalyse ecological, economic and social development through right based approach. The organization is actively working with community male, female and children along with important stakeholders like government line departments, local government, social institutions and other working agencies. The organisation believes in partnership and prefers working through network or strengthening existing structures or resources.
Since 2003, Banipur Sahayog has been at the forefront of combating malnutrition among school-going children from impoverished and tribal backgrounds. Our nutrition program is more than just a meal; it’s a step towards a healthier future for our nation’s children.
We understand that proper nutrition is the cornerstone of learning and development. Our programs provide balanced meals enriched with essential vitamins and minerals to ensure that every child can grow, learn, and thrive.
Our commitment to sustainability leads us to source fresh, local produce while adhering to global nutritional standards. This approach supports local farmers and reduces our carbon footprint, all while providing high-quality meals to the children.
Education is key to long-term change. We organize workshops for students, parents, and teachers to raise awareness about the importance of nutrition. These interactive sessions cover topics like healthy eating habits, food safety, and the benefits of a balanced diet.
To ensure the effectiveness of our nutrition programs, we conduct regular monitoring and evaluation. This helps us to continuously improve our services and make data-driven decisions that benefit the children we serve.
Banipur Sahayog believes in the power of community. We work closely with local leaders, parents, and volunteers to tailor our nutrition programs to the specific needs of each community.
